Overview:

The Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) will begin requiring patient and patient family satisfaction surveys contained in the Consumer Assessment Health Provider System (CAHPS) in 2015. All Medicare Certified Hospices will be required to distribute CAHPS Surveys through an approved vendor. Voluntary implementation will begin as early as January 2015, and required implementation is currently scheduled for April 2015
