The new feature will give clinicians:

I-prescribe is easy for agencies to implement and intuitive for clinicians. Simply download the app on an android or iPhone, enter the agency’s credentials, and follow the straightforward prompts. Information entered or changed on the app, automatically syncs to Hummingbird.

I-prescribe adds an additional benefit to the ClearScripts workflow which gives clinicians a direct connection to the pharmacy. With ClearScripts, nurses no longer need to enter meds one-by-one at admission. With one click, ClearScripts lets meds flow directly into Hummingbird without the lengthy back and forth with the pharmacy. Patient medication history, covered and non-covered drugs, controlled and non-controlled substances are all available directly in the program.
With e-prescribe quickly becoming mandated across the country, I-prescribe gives clinicians more flexibility in administering medications.
