In the United Kingdom, autobiographer Barbara Altounyan is looking at setting up a charity that puts autobiographers and journalists in end of life care facilities a couple times a month. Altounyan is asking the hospice community if they feel this is a useful and meaningful idea.
Altounyan sees a unique benefit that autobiographers can bring to patients at the end of life:
As an audio biographer, I record people’s life stories on audio so that their family and friends will still be able to hear their voices and memories long after they’ve passed away.
